Spray a 9 inch square pan with cooking spray. Set aside. Melt butter over medium low heat in medium stock pot. Add marshmallows. Stir continuously over medium low heat until melted. Remove from heat. Add cereal. Working quickly, mix with a rubber spatula that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Scrape into prepared pan. Press down evenly. Allow to cool completely. Cut into squares.
