Easy Southern Pecan Pie

A true southern classic! This Pecan Pie is perfectly sweet, nutty, buttery, and just SO. GOOD. It's the perfect pie to serve during Thanksgiving and Christmas.

What you need

pie crust

corn syrup

unsalted butter

vanilla extract

coarse sea salt
Instructions
Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Place pecans in bottom of unbaked pie shell. In a small bowl, whisk eggs together. Set aside. Combine sugar and corn syrup. Stir together. Add butter, vanilla, and salt. Mix well. Gently stir in eggs, being careful not to incorporate air. Pour over pecans. Bake for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 degrees F. Continue baking for an additional 55-60 minutes, until puffy and set. You may need to cover with foil for the last 20-25 minutes of baking.View original recipe
