cup unsalted butter

cup all purpose flour

cup sugar

tsp salt

tbsp lime juice

Instructions Cookies Beat butter and sugar with an electric mixer until creamy. Mix in flour, salt, and lime zest. Turn out onto a piece of parchment paper. Roll into a log 12 inches long. Roll up in the parchment paper. Freeze for 30 minutes. Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Line 2 sheet pans with parchment paper. Set aside. Remove cookie dough from freezer. Slice into ¼ inch slices. Place on prepared sheet pans. Bake for 12 minutes, rotating halfway through, or until just starting to color around the edges. Cool on pans. Icing In a medium bowl, combine powdered sugar and lime juice. Beat until smooth. Spread on top of each cookie.View original recipe
